The Lionel\Commodores challenge

Cut and paste this into your comments with the answers to the questions. If you look them up it will ruin the fun. I started this game this weekend with my child bride, then it poured over to work today. I was driving people crazy with my myopic focus on the subject matter. most of these questions I didn't know either.

Dancing on the Ceiling - Lionel or the Commodores?
further hint there was a video

Three Times a Lady - Lionel or the Commodores?

Lady - Kenny Rogers song or Lionel?

Commodores song 'Sail On'. is it funk country? country funk? hmmmm...

Ladies Night - Commodores or Cool and the Gang?

Easy (like Sunday morning) Lionel or Commodores?

Brick House - Commodores or Cool and the Gang?

What Commodore hit during the oil crisis exclaimed "36 24 36 what a winning hand?

Can't cool down? Lionel or the Commodores?
Was the title to only grammy album of one of the two?
What Duet did Lionel do in 1981 that was also a title to a hit movie of that year?
clue Diana Ross
clue Brooke Shields

The daily double and final jeopardy - 1987 saw Richie's nine-year streak of writing at least one number one single was a feat only matched by who?

36th Anniversary of the first earthling on the moon

buzz

Here is a panorama that includes sound of the first step Armstrong made on the moon 36 years ago today. You will need some quicktime software installed to make this work but you probably already have it. Google also has added maps of all the moon landings for this day in history.

If I had better internet skills and keyboard skills I would look up when the last time the stienbreaner's were treated this badly. Big Papi I love you! I hope you hit another 4 runner tomorrow against Johnston or what ever his name is.

Well we made it home. I will not brag about the experience other than the ride we got to the Helena airport was excellent thanks Tom and Barb. Everything after that was crap. I don't mind flying I hate airports. Everything is such a hassle and you are at the mercy of underpaid and undertrained air industry personel. Bin Laden did a job on this industry.

Took a trip Downtown

Just got back from a quick trip downtown to run some errand and get some milkshakes at the parrot. Took some shots of the walking mall in the oldest part of downtown. There are some really good looking buildings that Gold built. I have started a photo set for this trip on flickr.

We took the dogs out for a more rugged walk today traversing some of the gultches around the BLM land. Montana has had a very wet spring and early summer. There is a lot of tall green grasses and wild flowers in bloom. My favorite were these Pink Thistles that were scattered around western flanking slopes.

Sunrise over Helena Montana 5:30am Mountain time

Now that Digger is deeply in love with Clancy, the younger female lab in the house. He is always on the hunt for her. We rousted me around 5 am this morning and wouldn't leave the door. So I took him outside after he ran upstairs to look for Clancy. Once we came back in I roped him to a bannester to keep him from waking the house up.

While we were outside I could tell that the sunrise was going to be worth being up for - alls well that ends well. I went back to bed for a couple hours and Digger fell a sleep on the dog bed in the living room.

Double Bows from Mom and Tom's Deck

Yesterday afternoon we were treated to a nice sun shower. There was some sideways rain coming down for a while then the clouds broke and the sun started beaming down like a Jerry Fallwell album.

My fav of this pix is the hot blondes. They are hotter than the double light refractions any day.

I went out with Tom on a 3.5 mile hike today with the dogs. Digger was off leash for the whole way and did really well. We came upon this awesome snag in the BLM land. There are some other shots up on flickr of the walk and the times out here in Big Sky.

Penguins Give Tom Cruise A Run For The Money

Salon did a really nice review of the flick. ""March of the Penguins" is enough to make you hope there's no such thing as reincarnation: Human beings have it hard enough, but the life of the emperor penguin, one of strife, deprivation and against-all-odds adaptability in one of the most unforgiving corners of the earth, is far rougher. funny looking cloud

funnel cloud

We are having a big wet T-storm currently. Shawn and I were napping and a bolt hit so close it shook us out of bed. It was one of those flash booms. My eyes were closed but the white light filled my eyes. Very cool. Digger hid under the bed. this is his first big storm. It has been rumbling for about an hour. I attached this pix of a weird cloud off to the west right now. I am wondering if I should be concerned.

There was a strike near the house yesterday and the fire dept had to respond to put out the fire. A neighbor saw the hit. We hiked around this morning and saw the tree that was hit and the ground that was burnt. Then I came back and took a hot tub.

Sometimes I don't blog

I don't feel like posting or I don't think about it. It is not anything to worry about it just happens. It doesn't feel like writers block which I had before my fifth published best seller. It feels more like I forgot to blog because I had more interesting things taking up my time like people and not time on the internet.

I am going to MT with my family to hang with my wife's family. I might blog there, I might not. It is my decision. It is going to be a great time and anyone should feel privledge to read about it that is not there.

Digger is currently sleeping in his carry on bag. I have lured him in all night, now he is so comfortable in it he is passed out. He is a good dog.

Blogger's site has the worst spell checking in the world!
