777 rides again
The roadcraft is back from the shop with all rebuilt rear brakes including drums, shoes and such. It ran sub-6 bills. In the future I may bite have to start breaking my knuckles on brake jobs and possibly the exhaust - the next worse system to work on any vehicle.
What I have been doing with the 777 is driving it 3 to 5 miles to the express bus stop and taking Sound Tranist the rest of the way to Redmond. There may be no need of a second car as long as machine keeps flying.
One thing I did find out by taking it to a professional is that the dual Weber carbs are full size rather than minis. Meaning they are performance stock and a matched pair, meaning they are worth 1500 bucks. But to cash in I need to either get some minis or switch it back to a single carb. Thus less horsepower but better fuel economy and much easier to tune and sync.

At least you don't have to worry about anyone stealing it at the Park and Ride
