Rough Day

ben started out the day really good but as the day went on things went from vomit to redline discomfort. He and Mom took a long nap because they are both not feeling well. After which both were much revived. Shawn called a nurse at our not-free clinic and then held the phone up to ben and the nurse said to take him to the ER @ Children’s.. Anyhoo the results were a bit inconclusive, as most Medical Science is. Ben was real upset when we had him back home. He would cry and cry like he was in pain unless held. Not like the boy at all, he knows boys don't cry. So this worried us. I got him to sleep on my shoulder outside after my late supper of Ling Cod and Asparagus (sp). Put him to bed a second time but this time in my spot in the Queen and propped up on a pillow next to his Mom. He stopped writhing and crying and settled down to sleep thus far.

I saw signs that Ben was fine a will be fine. 1. As I was walking in to the ER I saw a Male Hummingbird. 2. After 12 years in Seattle I saw the Northern Lights and we all should know how much Auroral activity can reap havoc with terrestial systems like 8 month year olds.

Click on the picture and watch a video of Ben on a happy day. He had just tried King Salmon for the first time.
